What role did (did) agriculture play in colonialism? What functions did colonial schools have and how is this history remembered today? Using the history of the former German Colonial School in Witzenhausen as an example, the workshop will explore these questions and also look at today's political discourse on remembrance and activism in Witzenhausen. Of course, there will also be plenty of time for discussion.
