Excursion to Witzenhausen

On a tour of the campus in Witzenhausen, we would like to track down traces of the German Colonial School and look at the history, orientation and aims of the school.

In the archive and library of the former German colonial school, we would like to look at documents and narratives from the colonial era. Together we will take a look at old maps, journals and school files and discuss the role that educational institutions played in colonialism. How can colonial archives be critically analysed? - We would like to discuss these and other questions with the participants.
